Project settings
Project settings is where you configure the overall behaviour and appearance of your course. You can access it by clicking the settings icon in the bottom left corner of the sidebar.
Linear mode
Linear mode locks the menu so learners must go through the course content sequentially from the first lesson to the last. Learners must complete each lesson before they can proceed to the next one.
This is useful when your course material builds on knowledge from previous lessons and a specific order matters.
You can enable Linear mode with the toggle.
Free navigation in Linear flow
By default, Linear flow guides learners through steps in a set order. If you want to give learners more flexibility, you can enable Free navigation with the toggle. This allows learners to move through the steps of a Linear flow lesson in any order they choose.
Course resources
Course resources is a quick access folder for supplementary material such as abbreviations, bibliography, or handy notes. Learners can access this folder at any time from the menu, however viewing its contents is not required to complete the course.
You can enable Course resources with the toggle.
Appearance
Choose between Dark and Light appearance for your course. This affects how the course interface looks for learners across all devices.
Default scene
Sets the default scene that displays when the course is opened. If your course contains multiple scenes, this determines which one learners land on first.
Select your preferred scene from the dropdown.
Text editor settings
Text editor settings allow you to set universal text styling across your entire course. Any changes made here are automatically applied to all existing and newly created widgets, meaning every slide you create will follow these settings without you having to adjust each one individually.
You can apply global settings to the Text widget or List widget by selecting the desired widget from the dropdown.
The following settings are available:
Paragraph
- Font size: set the default font size in px
- Line height: set the default line height as a percentage
- Space before & after: set the spacing between paragraphs in px
- Color: set the default text color
- Bold, Italic, Underline: toggle default text styling
Headings
You can expand and configure Headings with the same options as Paragraph.
💡 If setting a custom text color, make sure it is visible against your selected appearance (Dark or Light).
